Jové Kitchen & Bar Chef Luca Moriconi brings his love of working with traditional Italian ingredients and showcasing the diverse flavors of Italy's culinary regions to our tables.
Although his passions and penchant for travel have led him to some of the most interesting destinations in the world, Chef Luca's move to the USA seemed destined as he was actually born on the 4th of July. Hailing from a small village in Tuscany, Chef Luca inherited his passion to cook from his mother and by the age of 10, he decided that he wanted to be a Chef. At the age of 14, Luca began Catering School in Barga, and spent the next five years working in restaurants and small hotels around the city and the region. Five years later, he started his career at the Five Star Hotel, Villa San Michele in Florence. It was during this time that he perfected his talent as a Chef.
In 2007, Chef Luca joined the Four Seasons family at the iconic Florence before heading to Damascus in 2010 to oversee IL CIRCO restaurant. His Four Seasons journey later continued on to Four Seasons Hotel Amman, in the heart of Jordan's capital city, as the face of Vivace as well as overseeing the hotel's poolside culinary experiences before heading to the sunny shores of Palm Beach Island to lead Jové Kitchen & Bar, the nightly hot spot for happy hour and dinner at the Five Star, Five Diamond Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach.
Like any good Italian, one of Luca's passions is cars, but even more so, is his beautiful wife Yobana and their two charming sons Alex and Leonardo.
